A DOMESTIC SOLUTION TO AN E-WASTE CRISIS

Every year, an estimated 400 million units of obsolete electronics are scrapped. Most of these end up illegally in landfills, in the U.S. or abroad, not adhering to EPA laws. By 2010, three billion units will be in need of responsible recycling. We focus on identifying equipment that has expired contemporary use and take the necessary steps to disassemble the materials for reuse in their raw form.

Great Eastern Metals offers a Complete Domestic Solution to this e-waste crisis.

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING

Great Eastern Metals is proud to announce a breakthrough in metal recovery and recycling technology - the Kenton Process™, our uniquely effective brand of solvent extraction. Our engineers developed these procedures over the last few years by applying their knowledge of the metal recovery industry to the mounting concern over the electronic waste problem. The other alternatives for metal extraction are to utilize toxic procedures, such as cyanide, smelting, or hazardous acids. We stand behind our processes and would love to show the world why.

A SENSITIVE SUBJECT

Computer hard drives contain sensitive information that should be removed or erased properly. As an NAID® Member, our procedure irreversibly destroys all data on the hard drive. Clients who use this service receive a certificate of destruction indicating that the information has been permanently destroyed. Data destruction is the least expensive method that guarantees sensitive data has been eliminated.
